Welcome to my website~
Hi, I'm Pengfei (Brian) Zhang — a soon-to-graduate software engineer who builds across the full stack and, more and more, with AI. Really, though, I'm just someone who likes making oddly specific things to fix his own small problems. I once built an Android app that runs a regression on my coffee intake so it could warn me before I wreck my own sleep. This site is the biggest, most affectionate version of that habit.
I'll be honest with you: I'm not entirely sure why I built it. I could've thrown together a one-page résumé in an afternoon — instead I sat down and hand-painted a 3D voxel island, block by block. I just love making the bespoke, slightly over-engineered version of a thing; the building is the part that makes me happy. So if you've found your way here and you're poking around, hello — you're exactly the kind of person I made it for.
The formal stuff — experience, stack, education — lives in my résumé. For everything else, welcome to send me an email or find me on LinkedIn.
